About me
I am a passionate and experienced physiotherapist with over 25 years of expertise. I am a PhD graduate from the University of Cape Town. My research focused on Healthy Aging, a field that aligns with my dedication to improving longevity and quality of life.
I have had the privilege of presenting my research papers at two prestigious world physiotherapy conferences and publishing numerous articles in world-renowned journals (ORCID ID 0000-0002-3876-6031). I was invited to be a peer reviewer by the prestigious British Medical Journal (BMJ), BMC Geriatrics and Journal of Medical Internet Research. I was honoured to be invited by Bristol Medical School to co-author a scoping review protocol and full review focused on nutrition in older adults across Africa, contributing to global research on ageing and health equity.
To remain actively engaged with the global scientific community, I have the honour of serving as a peer reviewer for leading international journals, including British Medical Journal, BMC Geriatrics, the Journal of Medical Internet Research, and the American Journal of Health Promotion.
From 2000 to 2008, I served as the physiotherapist for the Sharks Rugby Team, where I honed my skills in sports rehabilitation and performance optimisation. Today, I lead a private practice supported by a team of highly qualified physiotherapists who share my commitment to providing exceptional care. Together, we offer evidence-based, personalised treatment plans to help our clients overcome physical challenges, prevent injuries, and achieve their health and wellness goals.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or aiming to improve your physical performance, our team is here to support you every step of the way.
